The New Eider is a wider winter bag rated to -10° F (with standart filling), yet it is still comfortable above freezing.
The main drawback with most winter bags is that they're too warm to use in milder weather. The continuous baffles on the Eider allow you to move the down from the top to the bottom of the bag, making it more comfortable over a remarkably wide temperature range.
The roomy cut gives space for storing gear inside the bag and for the use of down clothing to boost the temperature rating of the bag.
Interlocking webbing and the convex/concave dual zipper flaps give the tightest zipper seal you will find, and amazingly, this bag weighs less than 4 pounds.
For camping in sub zero temperatures, we highly recommend the use of a VBL (Vapor Barrier Liner)!
